Full Job Description

Dainty USA is a leading North American food manufacturer with more than 140 years of experience producing high-quality foods people know and trust. As we launch our new manufacturing facility in Batavia, Ohio, we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to build our maintenance and reliability program from the ground up.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Manager will lead all aspects of maintenance, asset reliability, facilities, utilities, and technical services. This role is responsible for developing a proactive maintenance strategy that maximizes equipment reliability, supports operational excellence, and ensures a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

Lead all maintenance, reliability, facilities, and utilities operations.
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs using a CMMS.
Drive equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Lead maintenance planning, scheduling, spare parts management, and contractor coordination.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, HR, and Manufacturing Excellence to improve plant performance.
Champion TPM, Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, USDA, FSMA, GMP, HACCP, and SQF requirements.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

7+ years of progressive maintenance or reliability leadership experience in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, CMMS, asset reliability, and maintenance planning.
Experience leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Food manufacturing or other regulated industry experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting a manufacturing start-up, greenfield facility, or major expansion.
Experience with TPM, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), FMEA, RCA, and predictive maintenance technologies.
Experience with automated manufacturing, packaging, PLCs, robotics, or food processing equipment.
Technical degree, engineering degree, skilled trades certification, or equivalent maintenance leadership experience.
