Full Job Description

Job Title: Deputy Program Manager

Overview:
A leading organization is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to provide on-site leadership and operational oversight for a team supporting critical security operations. This role is responsible for ensuring personnel security processes are executed effectively, deliverables are met, and organizational objectives are achieved.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing teams in complex, compliance-driven environments and has a deep understanding of personnel security.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site leadership and oversight for assigned personnel
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across multiple personnel security disciplines
Ensure all deliverables, deadlines, and support services meet established requirements
Interface effectively with stakeholders and deliver high-quality outcomes
Plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments to meet operational needs
Ensure timely preparation and submission of required reports
Review and adjudicate investigative reports, personnel files, and related documentation to determine security clearance eligibility (grant, deny, suspend, revoke, or restrict)

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in multiple security disciplines (personnel security preferred)
Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills appropriate for a supervisory role
Customer-focused and results-driven mindset
Ability to manage competing priorities in a structured, compliance-driven environment
