Hello!

Virtuoso Content is a Los Angeles-based content agency heading into its 14th year. About 70% of our clients are law firms; the rest run the gamut.

We create copy people can be proud of, using a process that respects our team, our clients, and our readers. Our motto is simple: No Suffering.

We're currently recruiting freelance writers, ideally with experience writing for law firms.

With a few exceptions, our projects are human-written only (no AI).

Our standard rate is $40 per page (~500 words).

One note up front, in the interest of respecting everyone's time: due to the way our client billing cycles work, we currently pay on Net 45 terms. We know that's longer than many freelancers prefer, and we completely understand if it's not a fit. We'd rather be transparent about it from the outset.

You should be able to:

* Write in a formal yet engaging style

* Minimize the use of passive voice

* Abide by our use-of-AI policies

* Avoid fluff

We provide blogs, ebooks, newsletters, website copy, and other content for attorneys and businesses. Candidates should be experienced writers with a background or education in law, strong self-management skills, and a solid work ethic.

NOTE -- when answering our screener questions,please do NOT use AI. We do read every application by hand and don't run these through a computer :)
