Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to help us integrate Xsolla microtransactions into our Unity-based interactive applications. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience while contributing to a meaningful cause! What You'll Do: As a Unity Volunteer Programmer, you'll be instrumental in developing and integrating microtransaction systems using the Xsolla platform within our Unity projects. You will contribute to creating a smooth and secure in-game purchasing experience for users. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing in-app purchasing systems using C# in Unity. Integrating the Xsolla SDK and APIs into our Unity projects. Assisting with the development and maintenance of backend infrastructure related to payment processing and account management. Working with virtual currency systems within our games. Implementing security measures to protect against fraud and ensure secure transactions. Collaborating with the development team using Git for version control. Troubleshooting and debugging code to ensure optimal performance. What You'll Bring: Proficiency in C# programming within the Unity environment. Understanding of Unity’s development environment and workflows. Familiarity with in-app purchasing concepts and virtual currency integration. Experience with version control systems (ideally Plastic). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. A passion for creating engaging and ethical experiences for children. Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team. Bonus Points: Experience integrating third-party SDKs and APIs, particularly Xsolla. Knowledge of authentication and microtransaction best practices. Familiarity with backend systems related to payment gateways and account management. Why Volunteer with Nurture The Children?
