Job Opening: Project Manager

HB Home Services is a local and family-owned company in Fairfax, VA. We service the full Northern VA area, offering a wide range of residential renovation projects to include kitchens, bathrooms, additions, basements, decks, siding, windows, doors, roofing, and more. By standing behind our products and beside our customers, we place customer service at the pinnacle of our business success and consequently source a large portion of our revenue from repeat business and client referrals. Our business consists of Administrative, Marketing, Project Management, Sales, Operations, and Field Crew departments, and we have transitioned to a fully integrated, cloud-based estimating and project management software that has revolutionized our business processes and elevated us to the top of our industry.

Position: Project Manager
Location: 2987 Prosperity Avenue, Fairfax VA 22031
Onboarding Date: Immediate
Hiring Manager: Mallory Hink, Director of Operations
Time Requirement: Full Time

Job Requirements:

Candidate should have ability to work autonomously, complete tasks with minimal oversight, and handle multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
Excellent skills in customer service, verbal and written communication, and time management.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Google Office Suite and Microsoft Office products.
Job may require ability to lift and move 25-50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license is required.

Job Description:

Work with respective counties to file and obtain relevant permits.
Coordinate delivery times and locations to coincide with project start dates.
Oversee warehouse inventory and scheduled deliveries.
Analyze material costs as compared to budgeted costs, and investigate alternative solutions as needed.
Submit and award subcontractor bids; manage vendor and subcontractor relations.
Oversee project schedules and work with crew to ensure timely completions.
Oversee all project aspects to include schedules, subcontractors, vendor deliveries, and inspections.
Show strength and understanding in structural construction as well as interior and exterior projects.
