Full Job Description

Our client, a leading innovator in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a QA Release Engineer to join their team. As a QA Release Engineer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the Perception development team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Release Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $90-95/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications to identify potential risks or issues
Analyze pull requests from developers and perform various testing methodologies including functional, regression, and performance testing
Triage system flags and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess impact of performance regressions
Report and track regressions and defects in an organized manner, ensuring timely resolutions
Continuously improve QA processes to maintain high-quality standards and support efficient development cycles

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Proven experience of at least 6 years as a QA Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance
Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies and testing tools such as TestRail or equivalent
Strong understanding of various testing methodologies including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing
Experience with issue tracking and project management tools like Jira, along with strong troubleshooting skills
