Full Job Description

Critical Response Strategies is seeking a Case File Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager to independently oversee file review, audit integrity, data accuracy, corrective action monitoring, and pre-invoicing quality validation. This role functions independently from the field operations team to ensure objectivity and compliance.

The Case File QA/QC Manager is responsible for pulling random statistical samples, conducting file deep-dives, verifying audit trails, flagging defects before invoicing, and monitoring Corrective Action Plans.

Key Responsibilities

Function independently from field operations to provide objective quality oversight.
Pull random 10% statistical samples for file review and quality validation.
Conduct detailed file audits to confirm completeness, accuracy, documentation integrity, and compliance with requirements.
Verify GPS logs, timestamps, outreach attempts, field notes, case status updates, and audit trails.
Identify defects, documentation gaps, duplicate records, inconsistent data, or missing support.
Flag quality issues before invoicing to prevent disputes or unsupported billing.
Track trends in errors, rework, case handling, field documentation, and data entry.
Monitor Corrective Action Plans and verify that corrective measures are completed.
Coordinate with data management, field supervisors, dispatch, billing, and program leadership to resolve issues.
Prepare QA/QC reports, defect summaries, compliance metrics, and audit findings.
Recommend process improvements, training needs, and control enhancements.
Maintain organized QA/QC records for audit readiness.
Support contract compliance and performance reporting.

Required Qualifications

Experience in quality assurance, quality control, compliance, auditing, case review, investigations support, field operations review, or government contract oversight.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in records.
Experience reviewing databases, case files, audit trails, timestamps, and supporting documentation.
Ability to remain independent, objective, and consistent in quality review decisions.
Strong written communication and reporting skills.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools.
Ability to pass all required background checks and comply with contract-specific requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience supporting government contracts, field verification programs, compliance audits, billing validation, or corrective action plans.
Experience with Knack or similar case management systems.
Familiarity with statistical sampling, file review protocols, and CAP tracking.
Bilingual skills preferred.

Work Environment
This role is primarily administrative and data-focused, with frequent coordination across operations, data, billing, and leadership teams. The role requires independence, discretion, and strong documentation discipline.
