Role Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and research-driven Quantitative Research Analyst to join our Research team. In this role, you will collaborate with quantitative researchers, data scientists, engineers, and investment professionals to develop innovative research methodologies, quantitative models, and data-driven investment strategies. You will leverage statistical analysis, machine learning, and financial domain expertise to generate actionable insights and support the development of next-generation quantitative investment solutions.

Job Description

-Conduct quantitative research to identify market inefficiencies, evaluate investment opportunities, and develop systematic trading and investment strategies.

-Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured financial datasets, including market data, company fundamentals, SEC filings, earnings transcripts, macroeconomic indicators, and alternative data sources.

-Design, develop, and validate quantitative models for alpha generation, portfolio optimization, risk management, and financial forecasting.

-Apply statistical modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to extract insights from complex financial data.

-Research, implement, and evaluate new quantitative methodologies using rigorous scientific and data-driven approaches.

-Develop scalable research pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and analytical frameworks to support quantitative research and investment decision-making.

-Collaborate closely with Software Engineers and Data Scientists to build efficient research infrastructure and deploy analytical models into production environments.

-Design experiments and backtesting frameworks to evaluate investment hypotheses and measure model performance using robust statistical methodologies.

-Prepare research reports, technical documentation, and presentations to communicate analytical findings and investment insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

-Stay current with emerging research in quantitative finance, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science by evaluating new methodologies and incorporating innovative techniques into the research process.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

-2+ years of experience in Quantitative Research, Quantitative Analysis, Data Science, Machine Learning, Financial Research, or a related analytical role.

-Strong knowledge of statistics, probability, linear algebra, optimization, financial mathematics, and quantitative research methodologies.

-Proficiency in Python and experience with SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, SciPy, or other quantitative research libraries.

-Experience working with large-scale financial datasets and developing predictive models, forecasting models, or systematic investment strategies.

-Experience with machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), or time series analysis is preferred.

-Knowledge of financial markets, portfolio management, asset pricing, derivatives, or systematic trading strategies is a plus.

-Excellent analytical thinking, quantitative problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills.

-Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex analytical findings to diverse stakeholders.

-Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, research-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
