Description
Altus Technology Solutions is seeking a Staff Project Manager (ECMP) to support Engineering Change and Modernization Projects (ECMP) at Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD).
This position provides project management support for active research, engineering, manufacturing, and facility modernization initiatives supporting national defense programs. The successful candidate will oversee project execution activities, coordinate technical teams, monitor schedules and milestones, and support the successful delivery of engineering projects throughout the project lifecycle.
The Staff Project Manager will work closely with government personnel, engineers, manufacturing teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical, schedule, and program objectives.
This role is critical to supporting lifecycle management, project execution, and coordination across engineering and modernization efforts associated with ECMP initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate project activities across engineering, manufacturing, safety, construction, and technical teams.
Support project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain project schedules, action item trackers, milestone reports, and status updates.
Coordinate meetings, technical reviews, design reviews, project briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
Assist with project documentation, technical reports, meeting minutes, and project records management.
Coordinate communication between government stakeholders, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related technical discipline
Minimum 5 years of project or program management experience supporting technical, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or defense programs
