Job Summary

*PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION REQUIRES SOLID GRILL COOK EXPERIENCE AS WELL AS EXPERIENCE ON SAUTE' IN A COMMERCIAL RESTAURANT KITCHEN.

Pay rate varies based on experience.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and committed to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meals are prepared efficiently and safely while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
Assist in meal preparation for catering events as needed.
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain food safety.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Utilize various kitchen tools, including knives and cooking equipment, with proficiency.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Assist with training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience as a cook or in a similar food service role is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and dietary guidelines is essential.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and catering services is a plus.
Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure are required.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
