Job Description:

Under the direction of the Security Shift Manager/Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for providing basic security coverage, ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees and the company, but not limited to;

Essential Job Functions:

Ensuring proper security is provided for all transfers of monies within the casino and hotel areas of the complex;
Communicating and providing direction to patrons and employees; preparing detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner;
Patrolling the hotel and casino areas and assisting in the coordination of emergency situations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required with a minimum of one (1) year experience or an equivalent combination of both. A valid CPR and basic first aid certification preferred. A valid motor vehicle license with a good driving record is required. Must be able to wear a radio earphone without any limitations, stand/walk for long periods of time, climb steps, respond to emergency situations.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
