As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Farmers Branch, TX.

Technical Experience
Core Engineering

Advanced Java expertise

o Core Java
o Spring Boot microservices
o JUnit, mocking frameworks

RESTful API design and implementation
Source control using Git

Identity, Security & APIs

Authentication and authorization services
OAuth 2.0 and JWT security models
API management platforms (Apigee)
Strong understanding of modern security best practices

Observability & Monitoring (Key Addition)

Strong experience improving application observability in enterprise environments
Hands on experience with Dynatrace for APM, performance analysis, and root cause investigation
Experience using Elastic Search / Elastic Stack for centralized logging, querying, and correlation
Understanding of distributed systems monitoring, metrics, and tracing

DevOps & Delivery

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent)
Enterprise DevOps best practices
Supporting deployments and diagnostics across multiple environments

Leadership

Experience leading and influencing engineers without direct authority
Proven ability to resolve complex production, performance, and reliability issues

Job Description

Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
Writes code, tests and deploys software.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
Maintains and debugs software.
