Practice Supervisor / Manager

MD Beauty Lab extends our commitment to patient confidence and wellness through advanced non-surgical aesthetic treatments. Together, we strive to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes, deeply personalized care, and an unparalleled patient experience.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and polished Practice Supervisor to oversee daily operations across our premier surgical practice and affiliated medical spa. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for driving five-star patient experiences, optimizing dual-facility workflows, fostering peak team performance, and maintaining operational excellence across clinical, administrative, and aesthetic service departments. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with medical or luxury aesthetic experience, superior interpersonal skills, and a dedication to upholding premium brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Office Operations & Workflow Optimization

Direct Operations: Oversee day-to-day administrative and front-of-house operations for both facilities.
Optimize Patient Flow: Ensure efficient scheduling, minimal wait times, and clear communication between providers, staff, and patients.
Standardize SOPs: Develop, implement, and maintain high-end standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Workforce Scheduling: Manage staffing coverage to guarantee smooth, uninterrupted daily operations.

Team Leadership & Staff Development

Supervise & Mentor: Lead the front office, patient coordinators, and administrative/clinical support personnel.
Talent Management: Drive recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
Culture & Accountability: Foster a positive, collaborative culture rooted in teamwork and high morale.
Coaching: Conduct impactful staff meetings and provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback.

Elite Patient Experience & Customer Service

Concierge-Style Care: Lead the team in delivering a white-glove, luxury-level experience for all patients.
Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary escalation point to resolve complex patient matters.
Quality Assurance: Monitor patient satisfaction metrics and feedback trends to champion continuous improvements.

Financial, Administrative, & Spa Oversight

Financial Support: Assist leadership with budget management, expense monitoring, and tracking provider KPIs.
Revenue & Inventory: Support growth through strategic booking, patient retention efforts, and inventory supply management.
MedSpa Integration: Partner with aesthetic providers at MD Beauty Lab to optimize scheduling and assist with promotions, VIP events, and luxury branding.

Compliance & Quality Support

Regulatory Compliance: Enforce absolute compliance with HIPAA privacy rules, OSHA safety mandates, and healthcare regulations.
Liaison & Reporting: Serve as a reliable liaison between physicians and staff, providing regular operational reports to leadership.

Qualifications

Required

Experience: 3–5 years of progressive supervisory/management experience in a healthcare or medical practice environment.
Leadership: Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, resolving conflicts, and optimizing workflows.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a highly professional demeanor.
Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency with EMR/Practice Management systems and Microsoft Office.

Preferred

Specialty Experience: Deep familiarity with plastic surgery, dermatology, or high-end aesthetic medical spa operations.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of cosmetic financing options (e.g., CareCredit) and aesthetic patient consultation cycles.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or high level Certified Medical Assistant is a bonus.
