Build the parts that build the future.
We are looking for a high-level CNC programmer with deep Mastercam expertise who takes pride in solving complex machining challenges.
This role is not about pushing buttons or running someone else’s programs. We are looking for someone who understands the entire machining process, from interpreting complex CAD models to developing efficient multi-axis toolpaths, optimizing cycle times, and supporting stable production.
Our team manufactures precision components for defense, aerospace, and advanced technology industries, where quality, accuracy, and reliability matter.
If you enjoy difficult machining challenges and want to work in an environment where your programming skill directly impacts production performance, this may be the right opportunity.
What You Will Work On
- Aerospace and defense program components
- Semiconductor manufacturing equipment components
- Complex aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and nickel alloy parts
- Tight-tolerance parts requiring advanced GD&T interpretation
- Multi-axis machining strategies for high-precision production
This is real work with real complexity, not simple production programming.
Your Role:
Mastercam Programming
- Develop efficient 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC programs using Mastercam
- Translate complex CAD models into stable, production-ready machining processes
- Create advanced toolpaths using dynamic milling, high-efficiency roughing, and multi-axis finishing
- Optimize programs for cycle time, tool life, and surface finish
Process Development
- Develop complete machining strategies including workholding, tooling, and setup methodology
- Design machining processes that improve machine utilization and spindle uptime
- Work closely with machinists to transition programs into repeatable production
Multi-Axis & Horizontal Machining
- Program and support horizontal machining centers with tombstone fixtures
- Develop machining strategies that maximize palletized machining systems
- Support lights-out machining and automated production environments
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce cycle time and improve throughput
- Help standardize machining strategies across programs and part families
- Mentor and support machinists transitioning into advanced machining techniques
Our Equipment Environment
You will be programming for a modern machining environment that includes:
- Horizontal machining centers with palletized tombstone systems
- Vertical machining centers with multi-axis capability
- Fanuc-based CNC controls
- Automated pallet systems supporting high spindle utilization
- Precision inspection using advanced CMM systems
Our focus is efficient production machining, not just prototype programming.
What We Are Looking For
This position is ideal for a programmer who enjoys solving difficult machining problems and building efficient production processes.
Required Experience
- 10+ years CNC machining and programming experience
- Expert proficiency in Mastercam multi-axis programming
- Strong knowledge of 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining strategies
- Experience programming horizontal machining centers
- Deep understanding of tooling, workholding, and machining physics
- Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience supporting production machining environments
Preferred Experience
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing
- AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality environments
- Experience with palletized machining systems or FMS
- Familiarity with Fanuc-based controls
Security & Compliance
Because we support customers in the defense sector:
- Applicants must be eligible to work on projects subject to ITAR regulations
- Background screening required for compliance with defense industry standards
Why This Role Matters
The programs we run support critical industries where precision matters.
Your work will directly influence:
- machining efficiency
- production capacity
- product quality
- the success of complex manufacturing programs
If you take pride in programming difficult parts and enjoy seeing your strategies run successfully on the shop floor, this is a place where your skill will be valued.
If you are a Mastercam programmer who enjoys solving complex machining challenges, we would like to talk.
