Job Summary:
The Enterprise System Administrator will serve as the dedicated owner of our Nextworld ERP platform, the financial system of record and core enterprise application supporting daily operations across purchasing, logistics, accounting, and reporting for Designs Direct and our sister company.
This role will serve as the primary point of contact for all Nextworld-related administration, user support, troubleshooting, integrations, data integrity, and ongoing platform improvements that help the business operate more efficiently and effectively.
Nextworld-specific experience is not required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting enterprise systems, strong learning agility, and a proactive approach to ownership and problem-solving.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Platform Administration & Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Nextworld-related questions, issues, and requests
- Manage system maintenance, updates, and environment administration (Development, Test, and Production)
- Administer user access, role-based security, and permissions
- Submit and manage support tickets with the Nextworld vendor
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues as they arise
Data Integrity & Integrations:
- Maintain and support integrations between Nextworld and connected business applications
- Understand and troubleshoot data flows between integrated systems
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity across platforms
- Maintain clean and reliable data to support reporting and downstream business processes
Reporting & Data Access:
- Support self-service reporting needs for Merchandising, leadership, and operational teams
- Help teams access, interpret, and utilize data from Nextworld for operational decision-making and financial reporting
- Assist in improving visibility into business performance through reliable reporting and data access
Continuous Improvement & Development:
- Update and enhance existing custom applications within Nextworld, including Royalty & Accrual applications and PQS Cost Analysis
- Develop no-code and low-code applications and workflow automations to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
- Identify opportunities to better leverage the platform based on day-to-day operational needs and user feedback
Required Skills/Abilities:
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite
- Experience supporting an ERP or enterprise application platforms in an administrator, analyst, or systems ownership capacity
- Comfort working within modern, API-driven systems and integrations
- Exposure to software development or scripting, including the ability to read code and understand system logic
- Willingness and ability to learn new systems, tools, and technologies as needed

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with at least one ERP system (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.) or modern low-code/SaaS platform; Nextworld experience is a plus but not required
- Exposure to APIs and system integrations, preferably REST-based integrations
- Familiarity with integration and testing tools such as Postman
- Exposure to environment management, user access administration, and basic data governance practices
- Cross-functional experience in an office or business operations environment
- Vendor management experience preferred
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required; college degree in business, technology, finance, or a related field preferred
- 2–5 years of relevant experience supporting ERP or enterprise application platforms preferred
Physical Requirements:
- On-site position at headquarters (605 Philadelphia St., Covington, KY)
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (7+ hours daily)
- Ability to stand for 1-3 hours daily
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds periodically
- Occasional travel within an 80-mile radius as needed
- Availability for occasional after-hours work during major system updates or implementations
