Full Job Description

Job Overview

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and support to clinical staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services. This role includes conducting group and individual supervision, reviewing clinical documentation, monitoring staff performance, and supporting therapists with case consultation and clinical interventions. The Clinical Supervisor also oversees students completing field placements, facilitates staff training, and serves as a liaison between clinical staff and management. The position requires strong clinical expertise, knowledge of ethical and regulatory standards, and experience with electronic health records and clinical reporting systems.

Responsibilities

Provide group supervision to clinical staff virtually one to two times per week (approximately two hours per session).
Support and guide therapists to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care.
Supervise students completing field placement requirements.
Oversee therapists’ casework, treatment planning, and clinical interventions.
Review medical records to remain informed of clients’ current status and service needs.
Review clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance and provide regular constructive feedback.
Conduct training sessions and promote ongoing clinical development.
Facilitate effective communication between clinical staff and management.
Provide support with client clinical interventions as needed.
Address and manage escalated clinical concerns and complex cases.
Document individual supervision records within the agency’s electronic software system.
Track, analyze, and report clinical metrics, outcomes, and performance indicators.

Requirments

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
Current and active Georgia LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license.
Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical mental health experience.
At least 2 years of clinical supervision experience.
Experience supervising therapists, interns, or students in a behavioral health setting preferred.
Proficiency in clinical documentation and reporting.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Ability to analyze and report clinical metrics and outcomes.
