About the Role
Corrections Technology Group (CTG) is seeking an experienced Security Electronics Field Superintendent to lead the on-site installation and execution of integrated security systems within correctional and detention facilities.
The Field Superintendent is responsible for the successful field execution of multiple security electronics projects from mobilization through final commissioning. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising field personnel, coordinating daily operations, resolving technical issues, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with CTG quality standards. While this is a leadership role, the Superintendent is expected to actively participate in installation, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activities whenever necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience supervising field crews, coordinating with project managers and general contractors, and ensuring compliance with local codes and prevailing wage requirements. The successful candidate must possess extensive journeyman-level experience in low-voltage or security electronics installation, along with demonstrated field leadership experience.
Because this position regularly works within secure correctional facilities and requires commercial air travel, applicants must successfully pass an extensive criminal background investigation, pre-employment drug screening, and maintain a valid REAL ID-compliant driver's license or a valid U.S. Passport. These requirements are essential due to the nature of the work performed and the facilities we serve.

· Mentor field technicians and apprentices, promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and technical excellence
· Manage customer expectations and maintain professional relationships with facility personnel, inspectors, owners, and general contractors.
· Identify project risks and communicate issues affecting schedule, quality, or budget to the Project Manager.
