Full Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Conduct hourly developmental therapy sessions with families and caregivers of children ages birth to three
Sessions occur in the child's natural environment which can include their home, daycare, a relative's home or in the community
- Work collaboratively with a team to create and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)
- Provide support and education to families in the Illinois Early Intervention program.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research in the field and incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other providers to provide comprehensive care and education to families
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records

Requirements:
- MUST have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education, Child Development, Early Intervention, Infant and Toddler Studies, Elementary Education or other education-related degree.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport and relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines

Urgently hiring for the following counties: Cook- North Chicago, Northwest Suburbs, Stephenson, Jo Daviess, Carroll, Lee, Whiteside, DeKalb Kane, Kendall, Madison, Christian, Montgomery, Effingham and St. Clair Counties

Note: Experience working in home visiting and working with children ages birth to three is preferred but not required

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $47.00 - $52.00 per hour
