Role

Sales Representatives are responsible for working with assigned clients and new prospects to assess needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and determine purchasing options for premise systems, hosted solutions, and value added services that All-Mode offers. A Sales Representative's goal is to grow All-Mode's market share through a strong knowledge of our products and a desire to help customers find solutions that provide optimal value while holding competitive losses to a minimum. Sales Representatives are responsible for acquiring the necessary product knowledge, solution engineering skills, and sales techniques to attain the highest sales volume that meets acceptable profitability criteria for assigned accounts and territories. They must build and maintain positive relationships with All-Mode Communication's clients, maintain proper communications and liaisons with the necessary All-Mode personnel, and perform such other job related tasks as All-Mode deems appropriate. Sales Representatives are eligible for commission on qualifying sales.

Principle Responsibilities

Analyze client potential within an assigned territory developing and maintaining a list of current and potential clients. The primary territories are Broome, Tioga and Chemung counties in New York, but other areas will be allowed as territory to the extent that there is no conflict with the existing sales reps in those areas.
Make calls on clients and prospective clients regularly and systematically, with the purpose of selling the company's products and services. Calls on prospective clients are to include "cold" calls.
Maintain a file of all contacts and information relating to clients including all contacts, visits to them, their interests, needs, proposals, orders and possible projects in the future.
Engage in ongoing communication with clients and prospective clients including presentations of the company's products, properly priced proposals, and on-site demonstrations. (Note that each Sales Representative is responsible to develop their own product presentations in a manner that fits their personality, sales style, and territory. Template presentations are available to work from.)
Regularly seek to set up "live" product demonstrations with clients to help build interest and show them how various solution can fit into their existing infrastructure and meet their ongoing needs.
After the receipt of an order, prepare the required job notes with all necessary details in a timely fashion.
Follow up with clients after a solution goes live in order to verify customer satisfaction and determine if there are any unmet needs.
Prepare sales forecasts and provide regular feedback on progress towards achieving sales goals.
Attend internal sales meetings and make presentations as requested.
Report on competitive activity to the owners and suggest new products or services which the company might offer to stay competitive and better server our clients.
Report high potential sales opportunities to the owners to help ensure a team effort in winning those opportunities.
Cooperate with other members of the sales team, technical staff, and any other All-Mode personnel to facilitate the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Collect accounts receivable when necessary.
Hold business expenses to an acceptable level and maintain all company property in best possible condition.
Learn to use All-Mode’s account management, quoting and service order software to maintain accurate and common records of all interactions with clients and potential clients.
Spend personal and business time each week in self-development activities to attain general knowledge of the business environment as well as specific knowledge regarding sales and our product lines. Self-development should include keeping abreast of local news, reading general business and telecommunications periodicals, reading books on sales and telecommunications, vendor sponsored training sessions, internal sales training opportunities, and refining sales techniques by practicing sales presentations.
At all times maintain a professional and businesslike relationship with clients.
As the company will be judged first by the appearance of it's Sales Representatives, the attire and general appearance of all Sales Representatives should be in good conservative business taste.
