Full Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused, technically skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our quality team. This role is responsible for providing first-level support to customers via phone and email, ensuring timely and effective resolution of trouble shooting any customer issue (i.e.: electrical, plumbing, appliance, awning, or any other camper related issues) using our service ticketing system. The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator, problem-solver, and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.

Comprehensive product training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure success in the role and confidence in assisting our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to customers’ inquiries via phone and email. (Customers may include Dealers, Individual Owners, and Service Facilities)
Use the company’s service ticketing system to track, prioritize, and document all support requests.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
Troubleshoot and assisting with camper component parts and operations, electrical, plumbing, general functionality and use of the travel trailer.
Provide accurate information, instructions, or solutions to customers related to company products or services. ( including but not limited to yearly maintenance service, assistance with how to change out tanks, breakers, etc.)
Collaborate with the Quality Manager and other team members to improve support processes and documentation.
Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s products, services, and support protocols. (Ex. Warranty Coverage & Model Year Changes)
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution of issues and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Communicate with materials team to secure and ship parts as needed.
Other duties may be assigned as needed by your supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate’s degree is a plus.
Previous experience in a technical support, or customer service role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
Proficiency with email and software programs.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem – solving skills.

Work Environment & Hours

· Full-time, in-office and on the shop floor as necessary to resolve or investigate customer concerns.

Standard hours of operation: Monday – Thursday, 7 AM – 4:30 PM & Friday 7 AM – 11 AM (OT AS REQUIRED)

This position reports directly to the Quality Manager

Pay Scale: $20 - $24

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
