The Key Accounts & OEM Sales Manager drives Hose Master’s growth, retention, and strategic alignment with Key Accounts as well as OEMs. This role integrates commercial, technical, and operational leadership to strengthen customer relationships, ensure performance excellence, and expand market presence in engineered flexible metal tubing solutions.
RE S PO N S I B ILIT I ES
The Key Accounts & OEM Sales Manager w i l l have key account o wnership of a d e fin e d c u sto m e r list such a s S w a g e lok, P a rk e r, M c Mast er- C a r r , and G r a inge r with following responsibilities:
- G r ow s a les thro u g h product expansion, engineered solutions and market extension b y p a rtn e ri n g with t he c usto m e r leadership team, marketing/sales, sourcing, engineering, and other key departments of the customer that impact Hose Master sales development.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and internal departments.
- W o r k with commercial management team to develop and implem e nt t he comp a n y’s key accounts and OEM s t r a t e g y.
- Coordinate Hose Master activities around pricing, contract renewals, performance metrics as well as quality and delivery issues to the mutual satisfaction of Hose Master and key accounts.
- I nt e r f a c e with custom e rs to c ondu c t r e g ul a r re v i e w s of busin e ss pe r fo r m a n c e.
- Monitor market and competitive trends to position company value effectively.
- Develop the forecast/budget for key accounts and OEMs.
- Work with Marketing to prospect potential OEM and contractor accounts, engaging in lead generation activity to solicit new business.
Q U ALIF I CATIO N S & BACKGROUND
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering, business, or industrial technology (MBA preferred).
- Credible technically and commercially so that one earns and maintains trust from engineers, procurement personnel, and other key contacts.
- Resilient, adaptable, and self-regulating whereby one manages long-cycle, complex industrial sales processes.
- 10 - y e a rs in industrial sales or key account management. (HQ level preferred)
