Recruiter – Tampa, FL (Hybrid)

Ideal Talent Group (ITG) | Full-time | Base + Commission + Bonuses

ITG is a Tampa-based recruiting firm specializing in the legal industry. We're looking for someone with a sales mentality who wants to be paid for performance. This is a relationship-driven business. You'll be on the phone, building connections with attorneys and law firms, and matching great candidates with great opportunities.

If you're a legal assistant or paralegal looking for a career change, this could be a great fit. You already know the legal world: the roles, the firms, the lingo. That knowledge is a real advantage here, and the earning potential is significantly higher than most legal support roles.

Compensation:

This is a performance-based business. You eat what you kill, but we back you up with a solid structure:

Base salary: $3,000–$4,000/month (depending on experience)
Commission: $3,000–$8,000+ per placement
Quarterly performance bonuses
Discretionary year-end bonus
Expected first-year total: $70K–$100K (average around $80K)
Second year: $100K+ is typical

Perks:

Quarterly team trips and get-togethers, aka the ITG Summit (spring, summer, fall, winter). Our last trip? We took the whole team to Greece for 5 days.

What You Must Have:

Sales experience is required. A sales background and sales mentality are the foundation of success in this role.
Mental toughness. You'll hear "no" a lot in this business, so we need people who can handle rejection and keep going.
Money motivation. This role rewards effort, and the people who do best here are driven by uncapped earning potential.
Bachelor's degree
Strong communication and writing skills
Reliable internet, computer, and phone

What Would Be Great to Have (Not Required):

Recruiting experience. Helpful, but not required. Everyone goes through our training process.
Legal assistant or paralegal experience. A big plus. You'll already speak the language of the firms and candidates we work with.

What You'll Do:

Source and connect with candidates through calls, emails, texts, and LinkedIn
Conduct screening calls and interviews
Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients
Manage candidates through the full hiring process, from first contact through their first 6–12 months on the job
Build and maintain relationships with law firm clients
Identify and approach potential new clients

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
After-hours calls happen. Candidates and clients aren't always available 9 to 5, and we work around their schedules

Location:

Hybrid in Tampa, FL 33607. Must be able to commute.
