Full Job Description

Location: On-site, San Francisco HQ (SOMA)

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Compensation: $34–40/hour, depending on experience

Our client seeks a temporary Associate IT Support Specialist.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who enjoys solving technical problems, delivering exceptional customer service, and learning in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and excited to grow into systems administration and automation over time.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-touch IT support and troubleshooting for local and remote employees across Mac and Windows environments
Manage incoming support requests and helpdesk tickets while delivering exceptional employee support
Support and maintain office technology, including Zoom Rooms, monitors, printers, room scheduling systems, Wi-Fi, and AV equipment
Lead onboarding and offboarding activities, including hardware provisioning, account setup, access management, and new hire orientations
Manage laptop lifecycle logistics, including provisioning, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and asset tracking
Support administration of cloud-based systems, including Google Workspace, Azure AD/M365, Slack, Okta, Jira, Zoom, and related platforms
Partner closely with Workplace and InfoSec teams on office moves, desk deployments, device compliance, and employee experience initiatives
Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and repeatable processes to support scale and operational consistency
Leverage AI tools where appropriate to improve support efficiency, scripting, documentation, and knowledge management

Experience:

1+ years of IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting Mac hardware and software is required.
Experience supporting Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive) and cloud-first environments.
Familiarity with employee onboarding/offboarding, laptop provisioning, and asset management.
Strong customer service and communication skills with a hospitality-first mindset.
Comfortable working onsite five days per week in a highly collaborative environment.
Self-starter who enjoys learning independently, solving problems, and jumping into new challenges.
Apple Genius Bar or similar Apple support experience is highly desirable.
Exposure to automation or scripting is a plus but not required; curiosity and a willingness to learn are valued.
