Full Job Description

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position: Election Clerk

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: This position has a fixed pay rate of $18.50/hour

Experience: At least 6 months of customer service experience is required. Training on specific tasks will be provided.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Day Shift, 7:45am to 4:30pm (Start date: July 24th)

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Election Clerk to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

Answer questions related to voting, both in person and over the phone.
Gather voter registration applications from various public and private agencies.
Assist with mailing out ballots and handling the return of absentee ballots.
Handle various data entry duties.
Assist voters with ballots and voting machines.
Validate and audit voter applications and replacement ballot requests.
Assist with the training and recruitment of employees.
Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

Fluent in Ilocano and Chinese is a plus!
Ability to type 35 wpm with accuracy and utilize MS Office.
Comfortable working in warm conditions without air conditioning.
Strong time management skills.
Effectively work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.
