We supply fresh pastries and breads daily to our bustling café as well as a growing number of wholesale partners. We're seeking a skilled and reliable overnight baker to join our production team and help us maintain the excellence our customers expect. This role is ideal for someone with solid baking experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a structured & focused environment.Join our dynamic bakery team as an Overnight Baker, where your passion for baking and culinary artistry will shine through in every product you create. This role is perfect for energetic, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working during the quiet hours of the night. As an Overnight Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Your expertise will help deliver fresh, delicious baked items to delight our customers and elevate their experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and specialty items with precision and creativity
Decorate pastries and baked goods using various techniques to meet quality standards and customer expectations
Package baked products efficiently while maintaining presentation quality and food safety protocols
Assist in food production tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling baked goods
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation and proper storage of ingredients
Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations
Support inventory management by rotating stock, restocking supplies, and notifying supervisors of low inventory levels

Experience

Previous pastry or baking experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting is highly preferred
Familiarity with food preparation processes within the food industry or restaurant environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes is a plus
Strong knife skills for precise cutting and preparation of ingredients
Prior kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment that demands efficiency and attention to detail
