Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Training Coordinator to assist our training programs across our organization. This role is vital in fostering a culture of continuous learning. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for adult education, instructional design expertise, and a strategic mindset to elevate our learning and development efforts.

Responsibilities

Contact speakers to arrange for their presentation materials, and to assure timely completion of required materials, power points, biographical information, CEU's, and reimbursement forms.
Assuring the timely and accurate duplication and compliance of training materials, such as printing out handouts, certificates, evaluation forms, etc., and their shipment delivery to the training/conference site in a timely manner or meeting with trainer in person to deliver the items.
Developing and dissemination of training announcements in a timely manner and overseeing the registration process for each workshop/conference.
Prepares written contracts for those organizations/agencies wishing to enlist in
PennCares trainings/workshops/conferences for the purpose of educational development for their staff or community.
Identifies and arranges training sites and promotes trainings and registration for all trainings.
Identifies and arrange webinar trainings through Zoom webinar platform and host the trainings.
Develops evaluation summaries of training upon completion of each training.
Post updated training schedules and related materials, as needed, to PennCares webpage so that relevant training information is available and current at all times.
Keeps list serve updates and enters in new emails/names/contact information into the system.
May assist in PennCares trainings if needed (Dementia Live, Hearing Distressing Voices, WISE, LEGO Serious Play, etc.), which may result in overnight stays.
Assist and implement grassroots efforts to promote PennCares trainings/activities through the use of social, print and broadcast media.
Performs related work as required or directed by the Executive Director.

Skills

Knowledge of the principles and practices of adult education.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of event/conference planning.
Ability to operate a personal computer and the Microsoft software products, such as Outlook, Excel, and Publisher.
Knowledge of the Zoom web conferencing platform or ability to learn to conduct webinars through the Zoom platform.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicating with staff, visitors, government officials, the media, and the general public.
Ability to analyze data and information from disparate sources, and compile reports, findings, and recommendations for action.
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and projects.
Ability to read, write, and understand written or oral instructions.
Ability to work independently without the need for close or continuous supervision.
Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to function effectively in an office setting.
Familiarity with an all-in-one integrated marketing platform, such as Mail Chimp, Wild Apricot, HubSpot, and Canva to create training flyers, etc.

Qualifications:

Two-five years’ work experience in an office setting which involved event planning or overseeing training activities; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
