Midwest Terminals is seeking an individual with experience as a general laborer or transloader to join our team. If you have experience working outdoors with a basic knowledge of material handling, equipment maintenance and grounds maintenance, this is your chance to advance your career!

Reports To: Transloading Supervisor
Schedule: Midwest Terminals operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Employees may work 8- to 12-hour shifts based on operational needs. Weekend work may be required during the shipping season.
Job Duties:
· Safely transfer liquids between trucks and railcars using pumps, hoses, and other necessary equipment.
· Ground maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, organizing, fueling equipment, washing equipment etc.
· Operate and maintain liquid transfer equipment (pumps, hoses, valves, etc.) to ensure the efficient and safe movement of liquids.
· Accurately document the transfer process, including quantities, dates, and any discrepancies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Perform general labor and other material handling duties as assigned.
· Perform all functions in accordance with operation and safety guidelines
· Maintain regular communication with supervisors and co-workers to ensure that the correct materials are moved at the right time and to the correct location
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Valid Driver’s License required
· Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
· General understanding of material handling and equipment operations (training provided)
· Promote safe work habits
· Ability to work well as part of a team to achieve job objectives efficiently.
· Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including heat, humidity, rain, snow and cold
· Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. regularly
· Able to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, stooping, standing, and reaching
· Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing, as part of our drug-free workplace policy.
