Monarch Title continually seeks qualified settlement agents, processors, post closers, receptionists, marketing and sales professionals for our offices across Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities include:

Receive files from settlement attorney, and immediately review all documents, ensuring that they are properly signed and notarized
Verify that all monies have been received from all sources
Ensure compliance with all requirements of title commitment
Keep a daily updated settlement calendar
Prepare final disbursement sheet, balanced to zero or accompanied with an explanation such as escrow held, and disburse funds as appropriate, including cutting checks, sending outgoing wires and coordinating assignments of funds
Prepare, copy, and forward lenders’ packages
Prepare Certificates of Satisfaction, Releases of Judgment and/or other documents for transmittal to lender with payoff
Maintain log books for incoming wires, outgoing wires, and escrows

Qualifications:

Minimum of four years of relevant work experience in the title/settlement/mortgage or other related industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Title Express preferred; Microsoft Office proficiency required
