Full Job Description

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing supportive clinical oversight of the services provided in the IBHS program. This leadership and oversight includes all services provided by licensed and unlicensed clinicians. The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision to all clinicians across the program including non-degreed BHTs. This position serves as a liaison between the clinicians and Clinical Director. The Clinical Supervisor provides recommendations for appropriate level of care in accordance with CBH and Magellan guidelines. This position requires an understanding of MCO rules and regulations particularly as it relates to staffing ratios and staffing qualifications. This position reports directly to the Clinical Director and works in close collaboration with the IBHS Administrative Team.

Face-to face supervision may be delivered through secure, real-time, two-way audio and video transmission that meets technology and privacy standards required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.

Essential Duties:

· Provides supervision as it relates to the clinical position/services provided

· Review interventions implemented, progression towards goals and consider treatment adjustments

· Documents supervision sessions with detailed agenda items

· Ensures proper staff ratios are maintained

· Reviews clinical documentation

· Identifies training needs and skillset of the clinical staff member; Maintains clinician Training Plans

· Maintains current knowledge of evidence-based treatment

· Supports QA by reporting outcomes, trends, barriers to perform services and ensuring clinical practices adhere to State and Local regulations.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Licensed as a MA level in psychology, Marriage and Family Therapist, BC, Professional Counselor, Social Worker with clinical experience

· Doctorate degree (PsyD or PhD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology

· Experience working with children and families

· Minimum of 1 year of full-time post- graduate experience in the provision of mental health direct services to children, youth and young adults

· Clear understanding of Supervision Regulations 5470.72

· Act 33 clearance

· FBI, PA Criminal and Child Abuse Clearances

License

· Valid license in the state of Pennsylvania
