Source the components that power the AI era

Every model that gets trained, every workload that scales, every trading desk that needs an edge measured in nanoseconds — it runs on custom-engineered infrastructure built from thousands of carefully sourced components. At International Computer Concepts (ICC), we design and build that infrastructure, and we’re hiring a Global Sourcing Manager to own the sourcing of the components that go into it.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who knows the datacenter and server hardware supply chain inside out — and wants to grow their career owning category strategy, supplier relationships, and cost across our product line. You’ll work directly with distributors and manufacturers across the U.S., Taiwan, and China, and partner with our Product and Sales teams to win strategic deals. We’re now entering an exciting next phase of growth with accelerated investment going into our proprietary product portfolio. This role is central to keeping the components behind it flowing — at the right cost, quality, and availability.

The opportunity

As Global Sourcing Manager, you’ll own the sourcing strategy for multiple component categories that go into ICC’s servers, GPU/AI clusters, and HPC platforms — from CPUs, GPUs, and accelerators to memory, NVMe storage, power, networking, chassis, and cooling components. You’ll forecast demand, negotiate pricing and supply agreements, place and manage purchase orders, and keep inbound supply flowing across a global supplier base spanning the U.S., Taiwan, and China.

You’ll sit at the intersection of our in-house engineering and manufacturing teams, our OEM and distributor partners, and our sales organization — and you’ll be accountable for the cost, availability, and continuity of the parts we build with. This isn’t a coordinator role. You set sourcing strategy, make the calls, and own the outcome.

What you’ll do

Own multiple categories. Own end-to-end sourcing strategy for several assigned component categories — for example CPUs, GPUs/accelerators, memory, NVMe storage, power supplies, networking, chassis, and cooling components.
Manage suppliers globally. Build and manage relationships with distributors and direct manufacturers (OEMs/ODMs) across the United States, Taiwan, and China.
Forecast demand. Partner with Product, Sales, Operations, and our engineering and manufacturing teams to forecast component demand and align supply plans against it.
Negotiate. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, minimum order quantities, and supply agreements to secure cost, availability, and continuity.
Purchase and manage inbound supply. Place and manage purchase orders; track lead times, expedite as needed, and manage allocation during shortages or constrained markets.
Support strategic deals. Work with Product and Sales to build bill-of-materials (BOM) costing and competitive deal pricing on strategic opportunities, delivering fast and accurate quotes.
Track the market. Monitor commodity pricing trends, component lifecycle (NPI, allocation, EOL), and supplier roadmaps from NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and others, and translate them into sourcing strategy.
Reduce cost and risk. Drive cost-savings and dual-sourcing strategies, and monitor supplier performance on price, quality, and on-time delivery.
Report. Maintain cost models, savings tracking, and reporting for leadership.

What you’ll bring

Must-have

5–10 years in sourcing, procurement, or commodity management, ideally in servers, datacenter infrastructure, computer hardware, electronics, or semiconductors.
A solid working understanding of the datacenter / server hardware supply chain and component landscape.
A track record of negotiating with suppliers and delivering cost reductions.
Hands-on experience working with both distributors and direct manufacturers, including suppliers in Taiwan and China.
Experience with demand forecasting and supply planning.
Strong cross-functional collaboration — you can align Product, Sales, Operations, and Finance around a plan and keep it moving.
Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to coordinate across U.S. and Asia-Pacific time zones.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.

Nice-to-have

Experience sourcing for GPU-accelerated servers, AI/ML infrastructure, or high-density compute.
Familiarity with ODM/OEM server builds and BOM costing.
Familiarity with import logistics, Incoterms, tariffs, and trade compliance.
Conversational Mandarin (helpful for Taiwan and China suppliers).
Professional certification such as CPSM, CIPS, or APICS/ASCM.
Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
