Airway Heights is a city in Spokane County, Washington, Just West of the city of Spokane. The population was 4,500 at the 2000 census. The City's name was taken from its close proximity to Fairchild Air Force Base and Spokane International Airport. In the 2004 US presidential election, Airway Heights cast 63.31% of its vote for Republican George W. Bush.
