Georgetown is a census-designated place in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 1,650 at the 2000 census. The area is located at the southwest corner of the town of Redding, the northwest corner of the town of Weston, the southeast corner of the town of Ridgefield and the northeast corner of the town of Wilton. According to the census, Georgetown residents officially live in one of these four towns. However, in reality, Ridgefield is probably not part of Georgetown.
