Greens Farms is a neighborhood or section in the town of Westport in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. The town of Westport has one political body, but consists of two geographical subdivisions; these being Saugatuck and Greens Farms. The area was originally called Machamux by the Pequot people. It was renamed Green's Farms in 1732 after one of the original five settlers in the area, John Green. It enjoys a temperate climate and has many ecological systems, including the salt marsh.
