Kingston is a census-designated place in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. The population was 1,611 as of the 2000 census. Kingston is along the shores of Apple Tree Cove and the Puget Sound, and is home to a major Washington State Ferries terminal linking it to Edmonds. Kingston's schools include Kingston Co-op Preschool, Gordon Elementary, Kingston Junior High School, Spectrum Community School, and Wolfle Elementary and Kingston High School will open in September 2007.
