Ladysmith, Wisconsin

Ladysmith is a city in Rusk County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 3,932 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Rusk County. It is the former location of Mount Senario College, which closed in 2002 due to significant debt. Part of the former college campus has been reopened as Concordia Prep, a Christian boarding school, as of September 2006. The town suffered serious damage from a tornado on Labor Day in 2002.
