Landing is a small settlement and unincorporated area located within Roxbury Township, New Jersey, on the south shore of Lake Hopatcong at Hopatcong State Park. The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 07850. As of the United States Census, 2000, the population for ZIP Code Tabulation Area 07850 was 6,827. In the 1920s it was an insular spa town for the very rich from New York City, but by the 1970s it had evolved into a comfortable middle-class community.
