Ovid is a village in Clinton County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The village is on the border with Shiawassee County. The population was 1,514 at the 2000 census. The village is located within Ovid Township. The village is on M-21, about 9 miles east of St. Johns and about 10 miles west of Owosso.
