Riverview is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 13,272 at the 2000 census. The city is a suburb in the Metro Detroit area, located along the shore of the Detroit River. It measures 11.4 km² in area. Riverview incorporated as a village in 1922 and as a city in 1959.
