West Hazleton is a borough in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, 31 miles south of Wilkes Barre. Decades ago, it was the site of a foundry. Hazle Park is of great beauty. In 1900, 2,516 people lived here; in 1910, 4,715 people lived here. The population was 3,542 at the 2000 census.
