Cleveland is a city in Bradley County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 37,192 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Bradley County . It is the principal city of and is included in the Cleveland, Tennessee Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is included in the Chattanooga, Tennessee-Cleveland, Tennessee Combined Statistical Area. According to the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce, Cleveland is home to several industries, including household cooking equipment, foodstuff, textiles, furniture, storage batteries, pharmaceuticals, industrial cleaning products, photographic processing, industrial and domestic chemicals, and automotive parts. The city is home to Cleveland State Community College, a unit of the Tennessee Board of Regents. Also located in Cleveland are business units of Maytag, Check Into Cash, and the MacKenzie Company.
