Goshen is a city of about 30,000 people located about 100 miles east of Chicago and 30 miles east of South Bend in the northern Indiana region known as Michiana. Goshen is the county seat of Elkhart County. The city's preferred nickname is the Maple City. It is primarily known as a center of manufacturing for recreational vehicles and accessories. It is also home to Goshen College ; a nationally recognized liberal arts college.
