Henrietta, New York

Henrietta is a town in Monroe County, New York, United States. It is a suburb of Rochester. The population was 39,028 at the 2000 census. The town is named after Henrietta Laura Pulteney, Countess of Bath, daughter of William Johnstone Pulteney, a major British investor in U.S. real estate at the end of the 18th century. Henrietta is home to the Rochester Institute of Technology. Henrietta was established in 1818.
