Marysville is the headquarters for Scotts Miracle Gro Corp. and is also the location of the first production facility opened by Honda in the United States, Marysville Auto Plant, located about six miles northwest of the city. It is also home to Univenture, which manufactures and markets media packaging, a major Nestle research and development facility, a Goodyear conveyor belt manufacturing facility, and a regional Parker Hannifin manufacturing facility. Marysville is also the home of Nelson Auto Group, a Chrysler dealership that also houses exotic cars such as Lamborghini's. 2006 saw the opening of several new businesses east of downtown Marysville, beginning with a Home Depot.
