Spring is a census-designated place and unincorporated community located within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Houston in northern Harris County, Texas and southern Montgomery County, Texas. The population was 36,385 at the 2000 census. A water park called Six Flags SplashTown is located in Spring. Old Town Spring is a popular shopping area in Spring.
