Gautam Godhwani

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Gautam runs the show at Simply Hired, and the buck stops in his cube. And if he keeps us headed in the right direction, it may even become two bucks. In the meantime, he encourages us to do a lot with a little, and to be creative with our ideas and our energy (translation: free popcorn, unlimited O'Reilly books, but no aeron chairs). Gautam has lots of experience starting startups, and finding great people to help grow them. Prior to Simply Hired, he co-founded the India Community Center to help bring the SF bay area community closer together. Before that, he was CEO and co-founder of AtWeb, an Internet 1.0 company acquired by Netscape/AOL in 1998. AtWeb made a product called Web Site Garage that helped millions of small businesses "tune-up" their websites, and registered them with all the leading search engines. Before he invented the Internet, Gautam worked for several small businesses including HP, IBM, and Microsoft.

Dion Lim

President & Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Dion keeps things humming here at Simply Hired with a mix of entrepreneurial passion and operational excellence. An experienced tech exec, his resume reads like a short history of the Internet itself: co-founder of Epinions.com (now Shopping.com), COO at Chinese portal Sina.com, Director of Biz Dev at Quote.com (now Lycos), co-founder of the "dot-com Petri dish" Round Zero, marketing exec at Schwab (ok, we're pretty sure he's making up some of this stuff) and way back when: excel jockey at Morgan Stanley and due diligence grunt at H&Q. In fact, the only startup we know he didn't have a hand in is Initech... although he does have a certain penchant for red Swingline staplers.

Jerry Crowley

Chairman of the Board

Like a fine wine, Jerry brings a certain character and finesse to Simply Hired, which would otherwise be noticeably absent. As Chairman & CEO of Treehouse Limited, one of Silicon Valley's first entrepreneurial incubators, Jerry's roots reach deep. From semiconductors to search engines, Jerry has seen the full spectrum of Valley innovation. His 40+ years of high-tech experience include tours of duty as Founder, President & CEO of OKI Semiconductor, Chairman, President & CEO of Gazelle Microcircuits, and Chief Pulley Engineer (CPE) of the original Etch-a-Sketch.

Peter Weck

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Peter is the alpha geek at Simply Hired, and he's spent many long years missing parties where cool people hang out in order to earn his Tri Lam credentials. Along with Gautam and Anil, Peter was a co-founder and CTO of AtWeb. After AtWeb was acquired by Netscape/AOL, Peter became Engineering Director where he led several geek armies running AOL Shopping, WebMail, and AOL Address Book. Prior to figuring out how to turn millions of free CDs into beer coasters, Peter worked for HP, GeoWorks, and Summation Legal Technologies. Peter graduated from UC Berkeley in 1994 with degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics, and had absolutely no social life whatsoever. (Which is just the way we like our engineers.)

Anil Godhwani

VP People

Anil is the heart of Simply Hired, and one of Silicon Valley's most gregarious and generous entrepreneurs. It's a rare day he doesn't meet someone new and offer them a warm meal, a cool drink, or the shirt off his back (fortunately, Anil is not a hairy person). Also a co-founder of AtWeb, Anil was the VP of Marketing and Sales, where he perfected the technique of closing partnership deals over lunch at Amber India. After its acquisition by Netscape/AOL (AtWeb, not Amber India), Anil gave back to the Bay Area community by establishing the largest India-focused non-profit community facility in North America. Before starting ICC, but after his tour of the world ping-pong circuit, Anil's illustrious career included positions at Internet 0.0 startups, such as AT&T and Sprint.
