President and CEO
James leads Simply Hired in its mission to build and operate one of the world’s largest job search engines, where job seekers can find jobs they love and employers can efficiently source talent using a performance-based solution. He brings extensive start-up, growth stage and public company experience to his role as President and CEO. James was Co-founder, President and CEO of Search123, one of the first pay-per-click search engines, which was acquired by ValueClick in 2003. He spent four years at ValueClick, managing its search engine and search engine marketing businesses. He then served as President and CEO of Efficient Frontier, the leading global search engine marketing technology provider, which was acquired by Adobe in January 2012. James also served as President and CEO of Dapper, an innovator in leveraging data and real-time media buying to deliver personalized display advertising, which was acquired by Yahoo! in October 2010. He remained at Yahoo! for two years, where he was responsible for the company’s dynamic creative and advanced performance-based targeting products, and the strategy, policy and third-party media acquisition functions for Yahoo!’s performance network. Most recently, James was Entrepreneur-in-Residence with Matrix Partners, a leading venture capital firm. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of iSocket, a platform for buying premium, guaranteed advertising, and EyeView, a provider of personalized advertising in video. James is a graduate from Trinity College, University of Toronto and Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law in Canada.
Senior Vice President, Business Development
With more than 20 years of experience in developing and structuring strategic partnerships, Bill drives Simply Hired’s business development initiatives. Prior to joining Simply Hired, he served as the Senior Vice President of Partner Content at Demand Media, where he led efforts to provide publishers, retailers and brands with high-quality, engaging content solutions to grow their audiences, customer bases and revenue. Bill also served as Vice President of Business Development at Revver, a pioneer in video publishing that cultivated emerging online talent and as Vice President of Business Development at ValueClick, where he was responsible for distribution and network operations for paid search. An expert in content licensing, distribution, search, mobile, and monetization, Bill began his career by founding Jeffries Technologies, a system integration, which was featured as one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest growing privately-held U.S. companies. He also founded and ran Digital Boardwalk, a pioneer in providing hosted eCommerce and Web publishing solutions to new media business ventures. Bill graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in business from University of Southern California.
Senior Vice President, Marketing
A 20-year technology marketing veteran with deep experience in global brand development, product strategy and customer acquisition for consumer and business audiences, Kristy leads all aspects of Simply Hired's marketing strategy and execution. Prior to Simply Hired, Kristy served as Director of Marketing for Intuit, playing a variety of leadership roles including driving transformation in digital marketing across the organization, excellence in product marketing, and brand management for small business and consumer business units. Kristy has also served in marketing leadership positions at Yahoo! and Compaq (acquired by HP in 2001), and began her career at Booz Allen & Hamilton. She holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Suresh "DP" Duddi
Vice President, Engineering
Bringing more than 20 years of software engineering experience to Simply Hired, DP manages a talented engineering team and leads the development of all products. He previously served as the Vice President of Engineering at LiveOps. Prior, DP ran teams of energetic engineers at Microsoft, Tellme and Netscape, where he was part of the initial team that wrote the Netscape browser. He also held engineering positions at HP and Silicon Graphics. DP earned his Bachelor’s Degree in computer science from Anna University in India.
Vice President, User Acquisition
An expert in search engine optimization (SEO), paid search (SEM), and email and display advertising, Mom is responsible for Simply Hired’s user acquisition and engagement strategies. With more than 15 years of online marketing experience, he previously led the global user acquisition team at PriceGrabber.com, a leading shopping comparison search engine. Mom drove the company’s efforts to develop and scale a profitable paid search program while increasing organic traffic by 30 percent year-over-year and doubling revenue from email year-over-year. Prior, he held senior level e-commerce and online marketing positions at Viking River Cruises, Fonality Inc., Commission Junction (a ValueClick company), and WebMetro, Inc. Mom holds a BA of Computer Science from Royal Phnom Penh University in Cambodia.
Vice President, Client Services
Leonard brings more than 25 years experience to Simply Hired’s client base to ensure customer satisfaction, retention and profitability. Prior to Simply Hired, Leonard served as the Senior Vice President of Client Services for LiveOps, a cloud-based call center technology and service provider, where he was responsible for service delivery to all clients, as well as the creation and development of the company’s professional services and customer support functions. He has also held executive positions for iSmart Panache, Greenplum and InfoGain, as well as Informix Software, where he spent 13 years and saw the company grow from $5 million in annual revenue to nearly $1 billion.
Vice President, Business Operations
Michael has nearly 20 years experience in company building, entrepreneurship, product and project management, and business operations. He drives planning and execution of strategic, cross-functional initiatives for Simply Hired. Michael joins the team after founding both Attitude Labs and Placeholder Name, Inc., the latter ending in a successful exit with a large search company. Previously, he helped found LiveOps, where he launched the company’s first product, planned and executed the company’s delivery of a SaaS offering, and established its call center agent management practice. He has also held senior level product positions at Netscape and AOL, and was responsible for the Netscape Browser and AOL Instant Messenger, among other products. Michael holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a BA from the University of Michigan.
