Emergency Department Coder Salaries in United States

Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent certification from AAPC or AHIMA. Serve as backup to Acute and ED Coding.

Initial and annual proof of active certification is required. Active coding certification credentials from AHIMA or AAPC such as CCS, CCS-P, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT.

You will abstract all coded data efficiently and accurately, meeting state and national reporting requirements. COC, CPC-H, or CCS certification, required.

$40.04 - $52.83 an hour
