Hand Hygiene MonitorDuke University Health System - North CarolinaPerform hand hygiene monitoring activities throughout Duke University Hospital to promote the prevention and control of healthcare associated-infections. WORK PERFORMED * Using an automated hand-held device individual will perform observations of health-care staff (RNs, MDs, etc) to monitor hand hygiene compliance within the institution, according the Duke Hand Hygiene Policy. * Enter hand hygiene data via the device correctly. * Communicate in a professional manner to health-care staff when noncompliance observed. * Collaborate with ICE staff regarding issues of noncompliance that need to be addressed.
