HIS/Medical Records Prep/Scan Coordinator [Full Time]Northside Hospital - Atlanta, GAWe are currently seeking an HIS Prep/Scan Coordinator to join our team. Assists in the implementation of new systems in the Health Information Services Department. Supervises Prep/Scan staff. Trains department staff in prepping, scanning and quality control. Interact with hospital departments as needed. Acts as the Liason with the off-site storage company for record storage and destruction. Monitors overall record receipt, duplicate medical record and account numbers, and quality. Assists with the System Administration when Manager is absent. Seven (7) years of experience as a supervisor in a high volume/production healthcare operation or RHIT/RHIA with three (3) years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a healthcare setting.
