Male Youth Services Client AdvocateWomenshelter of Long Beach - Long Beach, CAYouth Client Advocate assists with youth intakes, needs assessment, and case plans. Helps with age- appropriate focus groups including, but not limited to, play and art therapy, and journal writing. Assists with group counseling and individual counseling as needed. Assists with parent-child workshops and activities. Provides domestic violence and teen dating violence presentations to area high schools and community organizations.Position RequirementsBilingual Spanish and High School Diploma required. Minimum of two years experience in youth services required and in counseling, advocacy and case management. DV Certificate of Attendance required.
