PayGrade: 48Scope of PositionThe clinical coder level 2 will be responsible to the hospital, patient and medical staff to prvide accurate and timely coding of diagnostic data. The coder is accountable for conversion of diagnoses and treatment procedures into codes using an international classification of diseases on all outpatients. The coder must be able to make sound decisions objectively and follow-through. The coder must demonstate ability to work with hospital business office personnel and other coworkers with flexibility and resourcefulness. The level I coder must have a 95% coding accuracy rate.
